Selection Criteria for Candidate Land Trust Focus Areas

Candidate Focus Area
	Globally Rare Plant or Animal (ranked G1, G2, or G3)
	3 or more Viable Populations of Rare Plant Species (ranked S1, S2, or S3)
	Any Viable Population of a Rare Animal Species (ranked S1, S2, S3) 
	Large Undeveloped Block and at least one of the following:
		- 'B' Ranked Common Natural Community 
		- MDIFW mapped Significant Wildlife Resource or Candidate
		- 2 or More Viable Populations of Rare Plant Species
	'B' Ranked Common Natural Community and 1 or more MDIFW mapped Significant Wildlife Resource or Candidate Significant Wildlife Resource
	'A' Ranked Natural Community
	Rare Natural Community (S1, S2, S3)
